Wife of Reverend Ben Binkley, Dee is a Christian watercolor artist, counselor, and teacher. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois. Her experience includes lecturing for museums, art galleries, and colleges, teaching at the graduate level, and painting commissioned works of art. Love of the illuminated manuscripts of the Middle Ages, the great Renaissance painters and the color palette of the French Impressionists greatly influence Dee's unique style.
As our Lord gives her inspiration, she seeks to intermingle the rich heritage of the early church with the mystery, power and ongoing revelation of the resurrected Christ and to perpetuate Christian symbolism in art. Success in portraying and celebrating the abundant life is clearly communicated through Dee's paintings.
God speaks to Dee through Nature, and as she perceives the wonder of that which is seen, He opens to her the reality of that which is unseen.
My prayer is, 'Oh King of Kings,
Give me images of your Kingdom now.
Enable me to convey the inner reality
Of the abundant life as we walk daily with you.'

Rev. Binkley so profoundly expresses by his personal walk with our Lord, the gentleness of Jesus that he is often referred to as 'gentle Ben' by those who know him best. Ben grew up in a Christian home filled with music and singing. He received his Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University, his Master of Divinity Degree at Emory University and completed graduate studies at the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. He has proclaimed the gospel in word and song for many years.
Through much training and experience, Ben's voice excels in melodies and notes. However, more importantly, the compassion and unconditional love of Jesus comes forth to all who hear.
