WE REMAIN IN HIM Our lives change like the rising and falling of the tide. And nomatter what, He remains by our side. Whether we're happy or sad, Or in times of good or bad. He is always near! We talk; and He hears our fears. We cry; and He takes away all doubt, For He always gives us a way out. In Him we will remain, And that will keep us sain. If there is tragedy, He embraces us. And for our sins, He sent Christ Jesus. We are His child, meek and mild. And the devil won't harm us long If we carry His precious song. God is our Father and remains by our side. For the sand of time will cause change just as the tide. BUT IN HIM WE REMAIN!! ©1998 By:Amy Lorena Leffel SAVIOR FROM THE STORM Is there anyone out there? Someone I can trust? I'm all alone out here, All I see is dust. Will the storm end? Will the dust settle? Where I can find a friend, With a heart of gold, not metal. Will my friend be forgiving? Once He forgives will he be forgetting? Will He wipe away the dust from my feet? ( The dust from the sinful world. ) As the dust settles, I know He is near. As the storm ends He is everywhere. I have built my foundation on Him who won't let me down. He has suffered humiliation with the thorny crown. He took away the dust by his blood. He was sanctified, Crucified, And hung on a tree in calvary. ( A promise fulfilled since the flood. ) My friend has many names: Immanuel, Prince of Peace, God with us, But you know Him best as Christ Jesus. Our Savior from the storms. By: Amy Lorena Leffel CHOOSING GOD'S LOVE No one ever said life was fair. Like a child yearning for someone to care, Would she dare? Dare to trust in God from above, Who shows her a precious love. She knows He is here But won't let Him get to near. She rather take the hand of death, Then to enjoy her every breathe. She talks And she walks But she gets nowhere, She really doesn't care. Then one day she comes to what she thinks is the end, But quickly changes her mind. So God steps in, And then within she finds someone kind, Who becomes her special friend. She once was like the lost sheep, Who had fallen so deep. The shepherd left his ninety-nine in search for the missing one. And in return God sent His only Son. Who died on a tree In Calvary, And 'rose again to take her hand And lead her to the promised land. So choose life, And choose it more abundantly. Then you can live for eternity In the presence of our Father God. By: Amy Lorena Leffel Return to AngelArt Home.
