One Angel You Don't Want To Meet

The word "angel" has more to do with office than the kind of creature involved. It means "messenger". Most people only think of specially created creatures of God, but God Himself is called an angel. The point is, the God who is there, the God outside of man, outside of our world and universe, relates to mankind. He communicates. And sometimes, but certainly not primarily, the angel or messenger, brings us a "word".

Look at this strange proverb. "He who sends a message by the hand of a fool, cuts off his own feet and drinks violence". When it comes to any message, the more important the message, the more emphasis on the messenger. Now watch.

Not everybody that tells you about angels has got it right. I'd be a fool if I told you I've got it down. The message, most vital to humankind, came from no fool, but we killed Him and we vilify His letter. I will tell you the truth about another messenger, and particularly one. This one you never want to meet. This one won't hesitate to kill you.

Since the garden of Eden, man has been listening to, essentially, one of two messages. The essence of "the lie" is, that God doesn't love you. If God really "loved", He would let me do and have and get and be whatever I want! Can you see a child saying this, living near the freeway, and wanting to play on that road? But once a person believes this, the essence of his own crime is selfishness. He will not have God rule over him or her, even though God doesn't have the problem, and His rule is a perfect gift. Sin is breaking the law of this rule.

Antichrist is one lawless creature. The spirit of this person sums up the issue of bad messengers and the fools that send them. The whole deal about angels often comes down to bad messengers. Most of what you hear is a lie. The whole of the character of Antichrist is, liar. The truth about the one who sends him is that he is the "Father of lies". The idea is to discredit and destroy what is true and right and wonderful. Most angels are that. Antichrist is different...and you may know him. He is already here in miniature, in type. in spirit. Sadly, you yourself may be an antichrist. That may be ascertained by the messages you have believed, and what you pass on.

Not deciding for Christ means you are against Him. Antichrist is against Him, and he might already hold your heart. His life is a message that may agree with your own. Let me tell you about him.

He is awesome. He comes out of Europe. He is, perhaps, here now. He will be the prime example of "the lie" in the history of mankind. But look what the lie gets him. Eventually, he will save the world from what seems like certain destruction. He is responsible for a time of peace and prosperity that looks like it might last forever. At first he is only Satan sponsored. But even then, while he is his own man, and you may think he is wonderful, he is not alone.

I cannot tell you all about the mystery of Satan. He and Antichrist are a pair. The heart of the story is this: God went past the point of no return. In Satan, He put everything that infinite wisdom, love and purpose dictated. But our God is more fragile than we think. He believed in His creation. He made him to choose. Because God is good, and the nature of God defined-love is giving, he gives all the room that's necessary. He must win this creature's heart. This is the way it is with all His creation. He can only win your heart. He cannot have "love" if He makes you do it. And Lucifer, like others in that realm, chose whom they would follow. And what was the heart of his rebellion? Why should he thumb his nose at All Goodness?

Here it is..

Sin is a process. And in that process insanity plays a part. It probably started because Satan heard that God had planned another creature. The new creature, man, would go from dust to the throne. In this, Lucifer(the angel that became Satan) could not abide. He was made to share the closest proximity to God. But he was told he was to serve this creature. This man, in all his eventual weakness and frailty, would need ministering to. This man, in all his pathetic smallness, would need assistance, and lots of it. That this creature, in all his mundane stupidity, and arrogant nothingness, would become the "bride" of the Christ, was too much for one so "perfect" to stomach. And he took his first steps away from God. Eventually, the mirror was cracked so badly that he began to "see" he could replace God, the Maker. This is the best and the brightest gone very bad. This is madness. But he doesn't give up, and eventually, in time...enter Antichrist.

It took Hitler to turn the Jews to Palestine. It will take a mega Hitler to turn them to God. All that the Jews have endured in 2500 years has not done that. Antichrist does it. In the next century, the new millennium, Antichrist mocks God like no other. He is arrogant beyond description. He starts out small. He takes down several countries just as Hitler did. He will change laws, and the calendar, and the God idea in all the world. His eyes are the window to his darkness. His intelligence is off the scale. His interest is in the Mideast. There is water there. There is gold there. Earthquakes will manifest this. He is party to a trinity charade. This brings him to the pinnacle of his purpose. Here is what happens. Mind you, these words are easy, and do not sound the depths of darkness and the hell that is coming to the earth. This is no casual report. But his life goes to new depths even still.

The fool mentioned in the proverb above, has degrees. There are eight or more levels of "fool" in the Bible. Antichrist is the sum and total of all. He is a partner and willing tool of Satan. But that is not all.

It is war at new levels that issues in Antichrist. He is key to their resolution. He will hold the cards. His killing machine is a new age-horror. His weapon gets us to the last paradigm of war. But to rid the world of the Jews, is selective, and he reverts to a simpler solution. In time, he will dump them, in mass, into the deserts of Egypt to die. But it is his power to make war and control the whole theater that wins him world fear and adoration. The terror that grips the world paralyzes governments. Business and trade, the world's life blood still, coagulates. The market place becomes deathly quiet. Usually war makes the world hum, but no longer. If you can't win, fear rules. Usually, selfishness hates selfishness in others. But if all life is threatened, you will love his power to "save". Most of the world will love him.

Ensconced in the trump position of world power, he begins to build. Remember, his is against Christ. He is against God purposes for the Jews, the church, the nations. He hates the seat of conscience and moral law in Israel. He knows that Jerusalem will be the capitol of the world. He wants to reign and retain possession of the earth forever. Big business was never so big. Also big, is his campaign to kill any vestige of "faith" from the earth. He destroys wonderfully. He is good at that, and there are cosmic losses. However, his life of infamy draws short. It ends quickly. But there is a twist in this life that mimics God yet. The third member of the "trinity" is inconsequential to Antichrist's future.

When God moves on the earth at the rapture of the church, Satan possesses Antichrist. Antichrist is Satan's answer to Christ. Now you are dealing with the "doctor death", the one angel you never want to meet. You should be gone from here when he comes. Now you are party to his dreams. He would rule the world and be your god. Now you will understand his eyes, and the power of his mouth to march up and down in the world, his countenance that emanates terror, and makes him fierce. You will die to resist him. And when he is struck down with the blade, he rises again. This is the "kick" of television lore, many an idea comes from truth. The Highlander is "immortal", and so is the person of Antichrist, well, not exactly. When you see him rise from the dead, you are looking at the "bright" Lucifer in that body. Now he is locked in. He mimics Christ, but the trap was set. He does not have the power of indestructible Life. The essence of his "life" is death. He will be separated forever, a God hater, unchanged, forever a lie! He loses. He's gone.

You are deceived if you think you are an independent "thinker". You are deceived if you think you can break moral law and survive. You are deceived if you think you can kill God. When Jesus Christ died on earth He was allowing mankind to provide their own destruction. This is the "Good News". He does not deserve to be hurt. He does not deserve the suffering. What He did was pure gift.

You do not want to find yourself , perhaps soon, in the wrong government, serving the wrong king, worshiping the wrong god. If you choose to delay, you may be convinced later, but at immeasurable cost.

So God made provision for you, and all that you have become, to be destroyed in Christ. You can walk away absolutely free. He died so you could be, both, forgiven and destroyed. The solution for sin, which is the crime of selfishness, is destruction. That's why Christ was nailed, to die, on a tree. His earthly life, which is in the blood, was poured out so you could be forgiven. But a forgiven "tree" with the stump left in the ground will continue to live and grow and produce it's old fruit of self love. So the "stump" is destroyed. The root of your "life' is destroyed by his death. In exchange, He gives His own. He can, because His was a true resurrection. His gift is Life...Himself. It is you He has on His mind. This is His message to you. Receive it. For His goodness sake, enjoy.
